The tree that never bends
Friday, December 01, 2006
Trees that all tall and sturdy like an oak will most likely never bend until they break. While a flexible tree, such as a willow, can bend and flex a lot before ever breaking. But which really survives longer? I suppose I could look it up but it's better to compare the two with some ignorance. A willow tree bends with things and changes with the tide. So to speak. While an oak stands firm until the changes break it. So which is the stronger? The one that stays tall until it is broken down or the one that simply bends and molds so as not to be broken down?
